Acceptable Use Policy
1. Introduction and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) is part of, and incorporated into, the PixMythos Terms of Service. It applies to every prompt, uploaded image, generated image, edit, composite, and any other content you submit to, create with, store on, or share through the Service.
You must comply with this AUP and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with this AUP, you must not use the Service. Where this AUP is more specific than the Terms regarding prohibited content or conduct, this AUP controls.
We may use automated systems and human review to detect and review content. No system is perfect, and our review of some content does not mean that we endorse it or that all other content has been reviewed.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, request, edit, store, or share any of the following:
Sexual Content and Sexualization of Minors
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content, including nudity created or altered for sexual purposes.
- Any sexual content involving a minor, any sexualization or exploitation of a minor, or any content that encourages grooming or access to children for sexual purposes. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Violent and Gory Content
- Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, or content that celebrates or instructs on serious physical harm.
- Threats of violence, animal cruelty, or content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
Hate Speech, Harassment, and Abuse
- Hateful or dehumanizing content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic.
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, doxxing, or content intended to intimidate or silence another person.
Deepfakes, Impersonation, and Likeness Misuse
- Realistic images of an identifiable person created or altered without that person’s consent, including face swaps, voice cloning, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Deceptive political, commercial, or public-interest content that falsely presents a person as saying or doing something they did not say or do.
- Impersonating PixMythos, its staff, or another person or organization in a misleading way.
Intellectual Property Violations
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, including protected characters, logos, artwork, or brand material used without authorization.
- Content intended to pass off another person’s work or brand as your own, or to facilitate counterfeiting or piracy.
Illegal, Privacy-Invasive, or Otherwise Harmful Content
- Content that facilitates illegal activity, fraud, scams, malware, hacking, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
- Content that violates another person’s privacy or publicity rights, including personal data, private images, or confidential information shared without authorization.
We may interpret these categories broadly to protect users, third parties, and the public. If you are unsure whether content is allowed, do not generate or upload it.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Attempt to generate prohibited content or use prompts, edits, or other techniques to bypass filters or moderation.
- Use multiple accounts, automated scripts, or bulk requests to evade limits, abuse promotions, or generate spam.
- Resell, distribute, or provide unauthorized access to the Service or your account.
- Submit knowingly false, malicious, or retaliatory reports about another user or piece of content.
- Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the Service.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with PixMythos or use the Service to deceive or defraud others.
4. Reporting Violations
Anyone may report content or conduct that they believe violates this AUP by emailing support@pixmythos.com with the subject line “Content Report.” Please include, where available:
- The generation ID, image URL, or other location of the content.
- The account or username involved.
- A description of the content and why you believe it violates this AUP.
- If you are reporting on behalf of a rights holder, a description of the right you believe is infringed and supporting information.
- Your contact information, if you would like a response.
For suspected CSAM or content involving an imminent risk of serious harm, use the subject line “Urgent Content Report” and also contact the appropriate law enforcement authorities. Do not download, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM.
We may share report information with service providers, rights holders, or law enforcement when reasonably necessary to investigate a report or comply with the law. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Review and Enforcement
We may investigate any content or account that we reasonably believe violates this AUP. We may combine automated detection with human review where appropriate. We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed before it is generated, displayed, or shared.
If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any of the following actions:
- Issue a warning or require you to correct the violation.
- Remove or restrict access to the content.
- Block a prompt, generation, feature, or account from further use.
- Forfeit credits associated with the violating activity, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Suspend or permanently terminate your account.
- Preserve and disclose relevant records to law enforcement or other competent authorities where required or permitted by law.
We may act without prior notice where necessary to prevent harm, preserve evidence, or comply with the law. We may also take action against accounts that we reasonably believe are linked to a violating account. Paid fees remain subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law.
6. Appeals
If you believe that we removed your content or restricted your account in error, you may appeal by emailing support@pixmythos.com within 30 days with the subject line “AUP Appeal.” Include the email address associated with your account, the relevant content or generation ID, and an explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect.
We will review appeals in good faith. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement, and we may keep content restricted while the appeal is under review.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Site and update the effective date above. If we make a material change, we may also provide notice by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the revised AUP takes effect means that you accept the revised AUP.
If you have questions about this AUP, contact us at support@pixmythos.com.
